Here's Gary with what turned out to be the jackpot fish. Congratulations Gary!

We left the harbor around 10:30pm, and headed over to Santa Cruz island. Crossing the channel was a little sloppy, but we all managed. We woke up at Santa Cruz island, east of Gull Island. We fished the gray light in hopes of white seabass; unfortunatley we had no biters. From there we made our way east, and fished some structure and kelp beds. Here is Ken with a nice ling.
