Mick caught his limits of Lingcod and Reds. Not to mention he won the jackpot and a New Rod Blank!

Thanks to Captain Joe Villareal and his great crew! To sum up our trip. We tried for the Seabass. Joe scoured the Santa Cruz Island beaches in search of Squid and Seabass. We barely managed to jig 20 pieces and the Seabass didn?t show. So we headed to Rosa and had some awesome drifts. Everybody had limits of Reds. A couple people had limits of Lings. The Ocean was calm with a light breeze. The marine layer burned off around noon. I would also like to thank Bruce and everybody else at Port Hueneme Sportfishing. We hope you have a great summer at ?Rancho Spa Hueneme.? Oh yeah, we had numerous sightings of both Blue and Humpback Whales!

My new friend Willy with a Blue Ling. We stuck with California regulations on size. Most the the Lingcod we caught we 7 to 10 lbs. This fish was released!
