John Dornellas joined us for the first time and caught this nice lingcod. It use to be a legal ling until the DFG changed the regs. Now it is just short of the 30 inch requirement. This lingcod was released unharmed. Thanks for joining us John. We had a great time fishing with you.

Only sixteen days later he passed away. I am dedicating this entire fishing season to the memory of my friend Mike Meehan. I am proud that I got to fish with you on your last trip and that you won the JP.
